Thursday Three For All

It’s Thursday, kiddies: the day when I roll out a few things I’ve been reading over the past week. Three of ‘em, to be exact. Enjoy. (Remember: click on the bold print to read the entire article.)

Southwest reroutes flight for woman to see comatose son. (via @FoxNews) A classy, kind move by one of the good guy airlines.

“I figured I was on the wrong plane. The gate agent told me to check in at the desk and when I did she told me to call my husband,” Uhle told airline blog BoardingArea.com.

The critic as an amateur hack. (via @ThisIsSethsBlog) How do you process criticism? How do you know what is meant to edify and shape you, and what is meant to discourage and derail you?

Just because you can hear them doesn’t mean that they know what they’re talking about.

Photoshopping Mr. Bean into famous paintings. (via @TheMetapicture) Warning: this will be the most disturbing thing you see today.
