Danny Recommends: Folding Hand Truck

Every so often we dip our toes into a series called Danny Recommends:, posts that tip you off to the stuff that I…you know. The recommendations might be products for use in your ministry, resources that will help you develop leaders around you, or just fun stuff that you need. Want. Whatever. I have a full list of recommended books and such over at the Reading List, but these posts will go into further detail. For other posts in the series, check out the link at the bottom.

If there’s one thing I know about church leaders, it’s that our cars are simply warehouses-on-wheels.

It’s rare to meet a kids’ director who is not hauling around some not-yet-inflated inflatable or a case of curriculum. VHQ leaders roll with coffee beans and cinnamon rolls. And student pastors … oh, never mind: that’s just four weeks’ worth of Chick-fil-A sacks and eight empty cans of Red Bull.

But the point stands: we tend to haul a lot of stuff. And for 100% of my time in ministry, I’ve had a faithful sidekick known as a folding hand truck.

I recently replaced my OG hand truck, the one that’s been riding in my trunk since 1993. Its successor was the Vergo model, with a 275 pound capacity, a 42″ telescoping handle, and 7″ ru…

You know what? The specs don’t really matter. What matters is that this little guy will haul stuff from parking lots, parking garages, driveways … wherever your stuff is … to wherever you need that stuff to be.

And when its not in use, well. It just folds down and lays in your trunk or cargo space as pretty as you please. It’s a must-have for me, and doesn’t require the energy of eight empty cans of Red Bull to get stuff hauled.

Order the Vergo folding hand truck.

Disclaimer: FTC watchdogs will probably want to know that the vendors listed / linked above did not ask for this endorsement, nor did they provide me with free swag in order to do so. I’m just a really satisfied fan who wants to let you know about helpful things. I only promote items that have benefitted me and that I believe will benefit you. So there.
