Flashback Friday: Walkin’ After Midnight
Headin’ into the not-so-wayback machine in 3…2…
…at 3:30 AM, I decided that the only thing that would put that kid to sleep was a car ride. (Also a horse tranquilizer, but I was fresh out of those.) And so off we went, driving the streets of Durham in the wee hours of Saturday morning. I saw the inebriated people at Waffle House. I saw the inebriated people at Cook Out. I saw the inebriated people at K-ville.
Read the entire post here. Happy Friday.
I don’t even want to count the number of gallons we have used up (wisely, I might add) in going on “get your butt to sleep” car rides. It has happened in Los Angeles (CA), Glendale (CA), Yuma (AZ), Salt Lake City (UT), Big Bear (CA), Bass Lake (CA), Sacramento (CA)…just to name a few places. Suffice it to say that some would wonder if I am a real estate agent looking for potential property to sell/buy. Chevron loves my sleepless children!
