Easter at Walnut Creek: What to Expect
This Sunday, our church will gather in one spot at one time for the first time in almost nine years. To say we’re excited is a crazy understatement.
It’s been a dead sprint for the last few weeks as we prepare for Easter at Walnut Creek. And if you are a part of the Summit family, we want you to be prepared.
Here’s a video we showed in our weekend services and all the socials this week. Try not to be distracted by the impossibly handsome host. (Seriously, is that physique powered by Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs or what?!?)
(Also, total side note: my wife was watching this video in the car the other day, and my 11 year old daughter asked from the back, “Hey Mom, is Dad doing that thing where he moves his hands a lot while he talks?” Yes he is, baby girl. Yes he is.)
(If you subscribe via email or RSS feed and can’t see the video, click here.)
I am SO, SO sad that I can’t be there. God’s goodness to The Summit does not escape me and it brings tears to my eyes. LOTS of them. I will gladly(?) be herding toddlers at The Bridge this Sunday. Also brings tears to my eyes! Much love from the Port City. Hugs to you, J.D., Chris, Rick, and all the other relics from my time at The Summit.
Herding those toddler is the Lord’s work! And I rolled at the “relics” comment! 🙂
