Danny Recommends: Jumbo Dry Erase Markers

Every so often we dip our toes into a series called Danny Recommends:, posts that tip you off to the stuff that I…you know. The recommendations might be products for use in your ministry, resources that will help you develop leaders around you, or just fun stuff that you need. Want. Whatever. I have a full list of recommended books and such over at the Reading List, but these posts will go into further detail. For other posts in the series, check out the link at the bottom.
For some reason, I like oversized versions of everyday objects. The big ol’ clipboard, for example. Party subs. The big Mr. Potato Head at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
But for a long time, I was stymied in my search for big ol’ dry erase markers.
We all need them from time to time: the standard sized Expo markers just don’t cut it when you’re trying to mark up a whiteboard on a stage. So after crossing oceans, scaling mountains, and free diving off of cliffs trial and error ordering from Amazon, I finally came across the Artline Magnum Dry Erase Markers.
These things have been a bit of a whiteboard game-changer. They have a 10mm flat tip, which I don’t understand because #metrics, but it works. There’s a bit of a learning curve each time to figure out the exact angle which gives you the boldest writing, but it gets easier with every use.
The link above is for a multicolor four-pack, but you can also get a six pack of the black markers.
For the money, they’re a great value and last juuuust long enough. If you want your chicken scratch to be seen by the cheap seats, you need to pick up a set.
Order your jumbo dry erase markers.

Disclaimer: FTC watchdogs will probably want to know that the vendors listed / linked above did not ask for this endorsement, nor did they provide me with free swag in order to do so. I’m just a really satisfied fan who wants to let you know about helpful things. I only promote items that have benefitted me and that I believe will benefit you. So there.
Just had to let you know how timely this recommendation was–next week we’re filming online sessions of our “Discover Your Calling” class and will need to use a large Post-It note pad for drawing illustrations (white board and lighting don’t work well together), and these will be a HUGE help! Ordered and on the way!
I don’t want to use the term “life changing,” but they’re definitely “experience-changing!”
