Fewer things bring me more joy than to hear a volunteer talk about the community they’ve found by serving. This weekend our media team highlighted the story of Eileen, a friend I’ve known since first coming to the Summit 12 years ago.
Eileen is one of our newer volunteers at our Downtown Durham Campus. She serves on the First Impressions Team there, and I can’t think of a better promo for stepping up and serving than how she says it…
We say often that we don’t ask you to serve because we need you to serve, but because you need to serve. If you’re a believer, you’re hard-wired for it, and you won’t be satisfied until you find your fit.
Want to join Eileen in serving? You can make that happen by being a part of our Weekend Ministry Teams. Serve at your campus on a regular basis with Summit Kids, Summit Students, First Impressions, or Production. SummitRDU.com/serve.
