Danny Recommends: DPark Radio
Every so often we dip our toes into a series called Danny Recommends:, posts that tip you off to the stuff that I…you know. The recommendations might be products for use in your ministry, resources that will help you develop leaders around you, or just fun stuff that you need. Want. Whatever. I have a full list of recommended books and such over at the Reading List, but these posts will go into further detail. For other posts in the series, check out the link at the bottom.
If you’ve been a reader for any length of time, you know my unabashed love for all things Disney (well, not all things. Let it Go and most of the made-for-Disney Channel movies are a horrific blight on humankind).
But I do love the theme parks. In years past, anytime we had an upcoming trip, my kids were often tormented by any music I could snag that would prep us to walk under the train station and emerge on Main Street U.S.A.
A couple of years ago I discovered a site that delivers an audio immersion into all things Disney Parks.
DPark Radio is a delightful little website / app that runs park audio 24/7. Some feeds have the quality of a direct line, others sound like someone hit record as they were riding through Pirates of the Caribbean or watching the Wishes Fireworks Spectacular.
And don’t misunderstand…this is not just the musical track from rides and shows. This is everything…queue announcements, cast member instructions, and in some cases, the sound of the safety bar being lowered for you in the Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy.
If you’re a Disney nerd, check out DPark Radio via the webpage or the app.

Disclaimer: FTC watchdogs will probably want to know that the vendors listed / linked above did not ask for this endorsement, nor did they provide me with free swag in order to do so. I’m just a really satisfied fan who wants to let you know where you can hear some great information and entertainment. I only promote items that have benefitted me and that I believe will benefit you. So there.
