A Sneak Preview of One-Day Workshop: Guest Services 2.0
Our team just wrapped up the content for our upcoming brand new One-Day Workshop topic, and I want to give you a sneak preview.
But first, some context: back in 2016, we debuted a couple of new-to-us Workshops with not-so-new-to-us topics: Volunteer Culture and Guest Services. And since then, participants have been asking the question “What’s next?,” specifically as it pertains to Guest Services.
This year, we’re finally answering that question, and on Thursday, October 27, we’re going to spend a full day talking about moving hospitality from a team to a culture. Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ll cover:
Guest Services 2.0: Creating a Whole-Church Hospitable Culture
Session 1: The Gap. Why a great team can’t overcome a bad culture.
Session 2: Why You Are the Best Culture-Builder. Ministry silos, immersion, and why not you?
Session 3: Who Our Church Is vs. What Our Church Does. Intentions, values, and staying on the same page.
Session 4: Foundations, Onboarding, and Culture-Protecting. The relentless commitment to guard the culture and honor people.
Session 5: Multiplying the Culture-Makers. Alignment, uniformity, and who you’re here for.
Throughout the day, there will be plenty of round-table discussions, real-time troubleshooting, and practical solutions to start infusing a hospitable culture into every crevice of your church or organization.
And of course, when we gather for a Workshop, we feast! We’ll feed you breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day.
Our available spots are well over halfway gone, and sign up ends at noon on Monday, October 24, just under two weeks from today.
Could NOT be more excited to join you from Minnesota!
Paul, we can’t wait to host you and Peggy!
